November 2017Personal Statement
This past year, I have committed to golf. I had played multiple sports through junior high and my first two years of high school. What I've learned from my team sports, I have been able to use in golf. The team experiences have helped me realize why I like being part of a team that also recognizes individual performance.
After golf season my junior year, I started to see a swing coach weekly. The work I have put in has changed my swing dramatically and has improved my recent tournament scores.
I am looking for a college where I can play golf and be part of a team that really wants to win and get as far as possible athletically, while achieving our academic goals. Playing any college sport is a big commitment that I am eager to take on.
I can't wait for the challenge of playing golf at the college level.
