My name is Madison Lantz and I have been playing golf since I was nine years old. I am currently a senior at Santiago High School in Corona, CA. I have been playing on the varsity team since my freshman year. Being a part of the varsity team has strengthened my ability to function as an active participant, show commitment, and treat others in a supportive manner. My goal is to achieve a golf scholarship and to have a college experience that balances academics and athletics. I strive to be an example to young golfers. As a role model, my academic and golf ethics can show them that through dedication and the desire to excel one will go far in their journey. My aspirations include improving my academics and athletic abilities to reach my full potential. I am extremely coachable and open to new suggestions and criticism to improve my game. On the golf course, I practice with a very focused mind set, playing close attention to my short game through the full swing. I am drawn to the challenge of the game; the mental and physical aspects of the game that requires consistent focus and practice. One of my main goals is to play collegiate level golf at a competitive school.
