Lena Gustafson '26 Recruiting Profile

I believe I am a good candidate for your team because of my positive encouraging spirit.  My nickname on my high school team is currently "the lollypop of the team," which 100% describes me! I can get along with everyone, and do not hold grudges. I also refuse to give up, even if it means staying an extra hour to get the perfect hit while on the driving range. I do not believe in excuses, because I am only in control of one person, and that is myself.  If something goes wrong, it is not the coach's or a teammate's fault, but mine, and I own that. I never let golf interfere with my classwork, or classwork interfere with my golf, but I give both my complete attention and time. I understand my strengths and abilities and use them to the best of my ability. I would truly be a positive impact on any team.
