2022 Highlights
March 2022I first picked up a golf club at the age of 5, taking classes through the city and occasionally taking private lessons. It wasn't until third grade that I found the SCGA Junior program, where I was able to grow my golf game and really fall in love with the sport. The program not only teaches you how to golf, but really encourages women in the game. I am still active with the SCGA Jr in the off season as a volunteer and eLeader. I would like to give back to the program that helped me so much. I also want to be a good role model for my little sister who is just starting her golf journey. I try to do so through my work ethic whether it be at golf or my academics.
For as long as I can remember, I wanted to go to college and major in nursing or education. I'm currently exploring other areas of study. Being able to further my education that while playing collegiate golf, would be a dream come true. I know what it takes to achieve such a goal and am not afraid to work hard for it. I am also an honors student, am involved with ASB, Link Crew and National Honor Society, and was captain of my high school basketball team. Being a leader, mentor, good teammate, friend, and working hard are not foreign concepts to me. My drive, work ethic, team spirit, and coachability are a few reasons why I would be an asset to any team.
I'm currently a junior and three year Varsity starter. I've been Rookie of the Year, made it to League Finals two years and this year made All League. Outside of my high school season, I am active in some local tournament series such as California Junior Golf, SCPGA Junior, Coachella Youth Golf, and Future Champions.
