In my freshman year of high school, I was on the varsity boys golf team at Washington High School in Fremont, California. While on the team I played the league tournament and qualified for the North Coast Section tournament. Fortunately, I performed well and moved on to the next round, the Tournament of Champions. Although I did not move on after that, I believe it was one of the best experiences that got me motivated to try again next year. Unfortunately, the next year I did not qualify for NCS but I put all of that motivation and determination into my academics. In my sophomore year, I took two AP classes and a honors class, not much of a difference from the previous year but, I did perform very well academically.
The summer before junior year my family moved to Livermore, California, where I currently attend Granada High School. Granada has a very good girls golf team, they won third at state in 2009. While on the team I played on varsity and we had an amazing season finishing third in the league, breaking a school record on the way. After league, we won NCS and qualified for the Tournament of Champions where we finished just short of qualifying for the next round. Overall, I am very excited for the success we've had and the success that the future holds.
