Lily Huynh '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

My name is Lily Huynh, and I currently attend Oak Park High School with the graduating class of 2024. I play golf on my school's varsity team, and during my freshman year, I contributed to winning our program's first CIF Southern Section Division 3 Championship in 2021.  Our team has been promoted to Division 1, and I'm looking forward to the challenge for the rest of my high school career.  I also play tournaments with different associations such as USGA, SCGA, NCGA, SCPGA Toyota Tour Cup, and Future Champions Golf on a regular basis throughout the year.  Besides from playing, I get coached on a weekly basis and often practice on a variety of courses to work on my swing and short game.   Other sports I've played before converting to golf about 3 years ago was soccer, basketball, and volleyball.  After the transition, I realized my appreciation for the game of golf not only for its skills I learn but more specifically for the mental game.  I enjoy and accept the challenge and will continue to work hard everyday to get better at this game of imperfection.
