Personal Statement
AUGUST 20, 2023 (We have decided to take a GAP YEAR for golf because of the death of my Grandmother) I want to thank with all my heart the D1 schools that I have had the humble honor to have communicated with and committed to or de-committed to ; SOUTHERN INDIANA, WAGNER, HOFSTRA, BRYANT, TENNESSEE ST, ALABAMA ST, WESTERN ILLINOIS, SACRED HEART, YOUNGSTOWN ST. My utmost gratitude and blessings to all of you equally. I will always be in your debt and you will always be in my soul. I will not be playing golf for ANY SCHOOL , at all... this fall semester of 2023. I will concentrate on getting physically and mentally heathly as well as my studies....Many respects.
As of today March 27, 2023 (Because of the death of my beloved Grandmother/Nana) I have Decommitted to DIV. 1 SOUTHERN INDIANA (USI) Cheers and respects for the Screaming Eagles and God Bless Coach Cheaney and his family .. I am forever grateful & indebted to you ...forever.
As of today Feb. 24th, 2023 ...,I have NIL committed to play DIV. 1 in SOUTHERN INDIANA (USI) !! The Screaming Eagles!!
As of Today, Feb. 14th, 2023 I have narrowed my selection to the Div. 1 schools that I am in communication with or any potential new offers I may receive via Div. 1 only.... . Many respects.
Today, Jan. 17, 2023 I was awarded/earned one of the VALEDICTORIANS for the senior class of 2023 at Hillcrest HS. Fight On Trojans!!
After great thought and deliberation with my parents, coaches and advisors, I will not be entertaining any offers or nor will I be considering any more Junior College, NAIA or Div.3 universities or colleges offers from now on. I have the greatest respects and gratitude towards these wonderful institutions and amazing coaches... but I have decided to concentrate solely on the Div. 1 current offers and current correspondence that I have at this time (also any potential NEW OFFERS, I humbly & gratefully might receive late in this semester.. my final Senior semester of High School) .

*( On Sunday Dec. 4, 2022 I shot under par (whether it be 9 or 18 holes) for the 25th time in my life.. with that goal accomplished, I am taking the holidays off.. my body is a little tired, Ive been playing non-stop for 6 straight months. )*
My senior season is over...... AND AT THIS TIME I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE MY REMAINING RECRUITING VISITS TO SCHOOLS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN ME...IM READY !.. ( I am open to all 50 states without reservation) I play for my school, my teammates and all the Hillcrest HS family and alumni.... I love nothing more than competing in their honor. I will do the same in college....faithfully. I play from the mens WHITE TEES when I practice now..(approx. 6,000 plus).
Recently. 10/19/22 I won my 3RD STRAIGHT INLAND VALLEY MVP/P.O.Y. at Tukwet GC in Beaumont, CA. I was 7 strokes down in the 2nd and final round with 17 holes to play and I parred 14 out of next 15 holes to take the lead and ended up winning by 2 shots. I'm emotionally SPENT..(not kidding....LOL).. and more importantly ....My TEAM is in the CIF PLAYOFFS because we won the Inland Valley title BACK TO BACK! .... I finished 4th in the Div. 4 CIF individuals this year and my team placed 5th.

I just wanted the coaches to know that I can intentionally fade or draw the ball ... and my clubhead speed with my driver was measured last month at Goose Creek by Phil Moore at 93mph . This past month JUNE 10th 2022 I shot -3 UNDER PAR (69) at Hidden Valley GC in Norco, CA. On June 14th 2022 I shot 68 (white tees)at Dos Lagos GC in Corona, CA. On June 22nd I shot 72 (white tees) at Goose Creek in Mira Loma, CA . From June 25th - July 2nd.... I shot 5 straight rounds at par or under par (-1, Par, -3, -1, -2) for 18 holes and 9 holes* at these 3 home courses from the white tees...6,000 yds . On July 14th I shot -2 at Hidden Valley in Norco . I have taken all the Div. 1 or Div. 2 or Div. 3 or NAIA required courses that I need in my HS classes so that I am totally eligible for ALL DIVISION golf levels....I also have a 4.3 GPA...(I am officially verified at the NCAA website and my info is available now upon request ) . I am playing in my senior year/season at Hillcrest HS in Riverside, CA. On Oct 19th I WON MY 3rd STRAIGHT Inland Valley conference MVP/Player of the Year..It was the most difficult for sure. Our TEAM won BACK TO BACK TITLES this year as well and we are onto CIF tournament on Halloween Day! I just turned 17 yrs old 4 months ago. I have now been playing golf for exactly 43 months . ( I hit my first driving range ball on May 27th, 2019). Our team wining the title is my most endearing accomplishment. My teammates and my school are my greatest motivations and passions!
At this time... I am lifting weights 3 -4 times per week with my trainer. We believe it is necessary so that I may gain a few more yards with my driver ( I currently hit the ball between 240-250 with my driver - depending on the wind or elevation.)
Playing in the California State Individual Regional finals the last 3 yrs has showed me that I can compete and succeed at the collegiate level. I'd really love to continue playing golf in college and play with wonderful new teammates and coach and to be a part of something really special once again for another four years. I am all about winning championships with my team!
