Nazreen Ali '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Nazreen Ali and I am currently a junior in high school, attending Great Oak High school in Temecula CA. I see myself as a great candidate for a collegiate team because of my love for the game, being in a team environment and the opportunity to compete at a high level. Golf has allowed me to experience moments of pure joy along with moments of humbling humility.  I am a fierce competitor with a positive mindset, which I believe is one of the most important aspects of golf. I started playing golf at the age of 7 and  each round brings new experiences and betters my love for the game. I love to practice and improve each aspect of my game and take advantage of every opportunity I get to hit range or get out on the course. Academics are also just as important to me as golf is. Aside from golf being one of the biggest passions in my life, I also enjoy being a commissioner for my school's student body. I am involved in many clubs and assist my student body classmates in setting up main events for our school. I also have a passion for learning new things, which is also why I want to study linguistics and help others learn a new language. Balancing golf and school can be a bit tough sometimes, but I always make sure to push myself through with hard work.
