I am so excited to be committed to Dixie State Women’s Golf and look forward to starting college life!
I was an only child growing up, so I never expected to have even a little bit of a competitive edge. That all changed when I became serious with golf. Once I got familiar with competitive golf, I knew that I couldn't just let it go after high school. I love representing my school as much as I love the game, and it would be an honor to carry that into college.
I was active in APA (The Academy of the Performing Arts), piano, and Chinese language school, but with golf taking priority, I decided to direct my focus so that I could reach my academic and golf aspirations.
I am a driven golfer who does not only work on the scoring aspect, but also the mental aspect. I believe that a strong mental game is just as important as all other parts of golf and is a key point in competition. I am also a very driven athlete. If I have a goal in mind, it only goes away once I have fully achieved it.
My goals are to find a college that I am able to thrive in both in golf and education, to perform with a strong mentality both on the course and in the classroom, and to create a strong bond within my team for the greatest success.
