Brie Nickal '18 Recruiting Profile

Being named an all state conference player my sophomore year gave me the boost of confidence I needed to consider playing golf at the collegiate level.  In this third year of playing for Centaurus High School, the coach has named me team captain because I am a strong leader and mentor to my teammates.  My freshman year there were six girls on my team and I was excited to challenge myself to recruit more players. This year, having helped build the program to almost 20 players, I look forward to competing and placing at the state tournament.

Recently I received my black belt in Tae Kwon Do. This achievement was both physically and mentally challenging, but through it I learned the value of discipline, persistence and honor. As a student, I am dedicated to earning my IB diploma and continuing my work with special education kids while I improve as a golfer.  I also very much look forward to discovering the college that is the best match for me.
