I began golfing around five years ago when I was in seventh grade. My parents were a very strong influence on me since they both golf as well. I knew since the day I started golfing this sport was meant for me, but it wasn't until my sophomore year that my hunger for more began. I have loved every aspect of playing high school golf. I love to compete and since the collegiate level is even more competitive, that really excites me. Golf has always been an outlet for me and a way to boost my self esteem. Golf is a great sport because it has an individual, and team aspect. I love working with others and learning from them along with teaching. Although this is really helpful, it's nice to only have to rely on myself.
My short term goals for this year and next are to improve on the course, and keep my grades on track. My long term goals are to be on the roster of a collegiate team, and to obtain a great education in pre-medicine. I'm working to become a dermatologist for my career in the future, along with pursuing a lifestyle in golf. I love to learn new things and be aware of what's changing around me. I'm determined and would love to be looked at for your roster of 2020.
