Personal Statement

Hello! My name is Meredith Norton and I am currently a high school junior from West Hartford, Connecticut. I am extremely passionate about the game of golf, and it is the sport that I wish to pursue at a collegiate level. I have a 4.0 GPA that I have maintained throughout my completed years of high school, and I have cultivated ways to successfully find a balance between both academics and sports. I enjoy volunteering with the First Tee of CT to teach younger children how to golf in my free time, along with playing on the course with my high school teammates or in tournaments. I am confident that I would make a great addition to your college team, between my positive and motivated mindset and my dedication to academics.
