Personal Statement
My dream to play for college golf team and Ladies Professinal Golf Association (LPGA) started when I was a 6th grader at Out of Door Academy. I was luckily accepted to play the high school girls golf varsity team at age 12, and soon became a key member of the team as a special guest. Two years later, I was invited by the coach from Sarasota Middle School Golf League to play the fall season. I was one of the top 3 best players and our team won the district championship. It was a great feeling to play the whole season, celebrate the triumph and share the sorrow together as a team. I love the feeling of teamwork! My passion in golf was continued in my high school at IMG academy, the world famous sports school, where I received 5 hours training daily. I also played many prestigious individual junior tournaments such as American Junior Golf Association (AJGA)Tournaments and Florida Women’s Amateur Championship. I won the champion at Future Collegians World Tour Open (FCWT) at Falcon’s Fire and the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour at Mission Inn in November 2019. I also made the cut at the 61st Girls Junior Amateur Championship and finished 26 out of 100 best players in June 2020. As one of top players in the Sarasota League, I led our team won the National Champon of Junior Tour Powered by Under Armour in August 2020. I am currently playing the girls varsity golf team for Lakewood Ranch High School. My handicap index is 3.0 and I shoot consistently at 70’s. - Activities Academic Honors & Membership I was accepted by National Honor Society in 2019, where I helped the non-profit organizations for fundraising. I successfully hosted an event for Girls & Boys Club and received the National Honor Society Student of the Month Award. I felt proud of being able to help the kids from low income families to reach their dreams. I plan to continue this journey through non-profit organizations in my college. In the summer of 2019, I joined the National Student Leadership Conference at Nashville, TN, where I developed my leadership skills, made speeches in front of students from all over the world, and helped the local community to be a better place. I … I was also the Leader of the Bollettieri Family Foundtaion Club at IMG Academy, where I raised fund for helping kids from low income family Music & Art I have played piano for 13 years since I was 4, and participated Sarasota Music Festival every year. I won the Music Festival Gold Cup Award for Piano in 2015 & 2018. I was in ODA middle school symphony for 3 years from 2015-2017. I have volunteered to play piano at local senior homes since 2017, including one personal piano concert at the Avita Senior Living Home in 2019. I hope my performance could make them happy.
