To whom it may concern,
I believe that obtaining a college education is a very important cornerstone in preparing for the workplace and for life. I aspire to succeed in academics and in golf.
I am a good candidate for your team in that I am passionate about golf and have worked hard to develop the fundamentals needed to be a successful member of the team. I am persistent in whatever I do and believe that this trait is a necessary aspect a player must have as a team member.
I embody the characteristics of what it takes to be a good leader from my participation in volunteer work, high school clubs and other organizations. In addition, I am generous and caring in my decisions and my actions. I am eager to make the sacrifices necessary for what it takes to succeed in both golf and academics. I am currently in the most rigorous program offered, the International Baccalaureate program. This program offers the highest quality international education to prepare a student for college and beyond.
