I have just moved to the United States in August 2014 therefore my rankings in the USA will not represent me.
I have a unique golf background. I have had the chance to work with well known golf coaches and have played golf in many different countries in the world including high level tournaments such as European Girls Team Championship, European Young Masters etc. with the Turkish National Team and also competed individually in Finland, Austria, Scotland, Ireland, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary, England, Latvia.
My recent biggest adaptation is of course my move to Florida. But I have accomplished a lot since I moved here in August 2014. My handicap after tying for the Individual State Champion title FHSAA Class 3A at Deer Island in October 2014 is +1.6
I have always enjoyed team competition. This is my first year playing on a high school golf team and the main reason why I moved to Florida. In the summer I will continue to compete for the Turkish National Team in European Tournaments.
My mental game, my drivers and my long game accuracy are the strongest parts of my game. I have learned from my experiences on the course to focus on the present, to be prepared, to spend quality time practicing and that I can compensate for the mistakes I have done on a previous hole. This also relates to my academic life ... I am an intelligent student and always fully focused on maintaining a high GPA. Math is my strongest subject which also helps me with my course management and strategic thinking. I usually think analytically and solve things in practical, strategic ways.
My goal is to go to a college with strong academics and a competitive golf team.
