I started learning golf as soon as I moved to Florida in the summer of 2015. At the time, it was just a fun way to pass the time, and to learn something new. When I had moved here, I started doing many other things, like Tae Kwon Do, Band and Figure Skating. As I grew up, golf came with me. Although, it wasn't until around 2019 when I started to really get into golf.
Academically, I am striving to get my AA Degree with my High School Diploma through Dual Enrollment. My goal is to major in a STEM subject and play golf in college.
Currently, I'm a junior in High School, and I truly have a passion for golf. I think it's a great game, albeit a bit frustrating sometimes. In some aspects, golf is just like a condensed version of life; you have your ups and downs, you have great shots, terrible ones, and maybe just overall forgettable ones. Golf has taught me a lot about being patient, cooling down, and just focusing on the next shot. I'm very excited to play more, and hopefully play in college where I can bond and improve together with the team.
