I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and I have lived in the United States for seven years now. I started playing golf around four years ago. I started playing golf through my dad. As I started my freshman year, my parents wanted me to play a sport. That same year I decided to try out for the Girls' Golf Team at my school, ever since then I haven't looked back! It has been a tough journey to be where I am today with my game. But it has taught me to be stronger mentally and to be patient with myself. I have been team Captain for the last two seasons, and this year has been the greatest so far.
My dream is to play at the collegiate level, I have put golf and my academics above all. I have played competitively all throughout high school, each year I have gotten better. A balance is needed in my life along with athletics and academics, I strive to be involved in my community and in my school. I am a part of over five clubs at school and I also devote my time to coaching young golf players. I am averaging in the low 80's, I strive to reach the 70's consistently this year. I may have started playing much later than many girls my age, but I am determined to work harder than my competition to reach my goals!
