My name is Sage Eckert and I live in Buhl, Idaho in Southern Idaho. I have been born and raised on a farm. I attend Buhl High School and currently have a 4.0 GPA and am working on graduating as Valedictorian and graduating with Honors. I have not taken the SAT of ACT yet, but plan on taking them during April and June. Along with golf, I also play volleyball and basketball. With these sports, I have been apart of Canyon Club Volleyball and Holiday Elite Basketball. With these traveling squads, I have traveled throughout the West competing. For golf, I have been apart of the IGA for many years. In this upcoming summer, I also plan on competing with the RMJGT. I have been apart of the Student Council at my school for 3 years as Freshman Class Vice President, Sophomore Class President, and currently Student Body Secretary. I am also a member of National Honor Society, Bible Club, MultiCultural Club, Key Club, and Speech and Debate. When I am not golfing or attending school, I volunteer my time to the Youth Ministry at my church as a First Grade teacher, basketball camp coach, and VBS leader. I also volunteer in my community with events ranging from coaching our youth to helping the Red Cross of Idaho with blood donations. I aspire to attend a four year school on an academic scholarship and continue my career as a golfer at the collegiate level. I am a leader to my fellow golfers on and off the course. I am also responsible, driven, and confident in my golf game.
