June 2022 Personal Statement
I've only been golfing a few years . I made varsity my first year playing and have continued to stay on varsity. I started out at 65 on our 9 hole home course my sophomore year so far im down to 43 this year. I became co captain of my high school team . Was most improved player and made it to sectionals . This year my goal is to go to state and play on a college golf team . I like being part of a team and making new friends while having fun. Last year I did a few siga tournaments over the summer . I helped with the junior camp over the summer. This year I am doing 2 day prep tour tournaments to help me prepare to play at a college level . My parents and I travel 2 to 4 hours away for these tournaments I also travel 2 hours one way to ky to see my swing coach (Bruce Dowell) once a month. My end goal is to become a travel nurse so I can help people and play golf as I travel
