I first picked up a club when I was about five or six years old. At first, I did not think golf was my thing, but my parents kept pushing me to play. I started really taking it competitively when I was heading into my freshman year. From my freshman to my sophomore year, my average dropped about 10 strokes. I was no longer shooting in the sixties, but in the low fifties. Between my sophomore and my junior year, I was out practicing and playing every day. I dropped my average from sophomore year to junior year about 9 strokes. I am currently working on dropping my average another 6 or 7 strokes.
I am a hard worker who try my best until I achieve what I want to achieve. I set high goals and I will not stop until I meet those goals. I also keep a calm temperament on the course and in everyday life.
I want to continue playing golf in college. I have already gotten the chance to meet and forge friendships with so many great people, and I want to continue to meet more. I also want to continue improving my game.
