Reese Stovall '22 Recruiting Profile

From a young age, my parents have always told me to find something that I am passionate about and to work hard at it. This mentality has instilled in me to work 100% at everything I do. Another thing that has shaped who I am is that I am from a large family. Being a part of a big family has taught me to learn how to work with other people and to maintain a balanced lifestyle. I have always played golf but I never prioritized it over any other sports. It wasn't until my freshman year of high school that I realized that golf was my passion and what I wanted to focus on solely. One thing that I learned about myself through golf is that sometimes my emotions get in the way of playing my best round. Playing golf has taught me that I need to be mentally tough even if things don't go perfect. My academic goals for high school were to make the honor roll all four years. In high school, I am taking a diverse set of classes because I do not know what I want to pursue in college. One thing that makes me a great candidate for your team is that I am a very well-rounded athlete and student. I played volleyball and swam competitively from early elementary until my freshman year of high school. I also participate in many clubs and activities in my community, school, and church.
