Personal Statement

I am a women's golfer at Crown Point High School in Crown Point, Indiana. I have a 4.30 GPA and expect to continue this path throughout my high school career. I would like to major in Business and play golf in college. My current goal is to continually break 80s in 18-hole rounds. In addition, I would also like to strength train and condition for this upcoming season. I continually balance my school work, golf, and other clubs and activities to better prepare myself for college life. It is important for my school to have a strong business program and an opportunity to play competitive golf.

Are you in honor classes?

Yes. I have taken several of these classes. At Crown Point, we call these Pre-AP courses. I have taken numerous throughout my high school career thus far.

Are you in AP/IB classes?

Yes. I have scored a 3 in AP Human Geography as well as a 5 in AP Psychology. In my current junior year, I am taking four AP classes including AP Seminar, AP U.S History, AP Environmental Science, and AP Literature and Composition. In addition, I am participating in several Dual Credit courses.
