Personal Statement
I was introduced to golf by my dad and brother the summer leading up to my freshman year of high school. I am now a junior at Huntington North High School having completed my third official season. I did not make the junior varsity or varsity team my freshman year, but I was still able to play on the team. This motivated me to push myself to get better and prove that I can be good enough to compete and hold a spot on the team. Through hard work and dedication, I made the varsity team both my sophomore and junior year playing the #1 position. My mental and physical abilities have improved tremendous amounts from only 3 years ago when I began playing golf. I would like to find a school that best fits my academic and athletic needs. My goal is to continue to improve and to compete at a collegiate level that will allow me to play to my full potential.
