I am excited to spend the next four years growing as a student and collegiate golfer. I am very strong academically and look forward to expanding my knowledge of the medical sciences. My goal is to achieve a degree and career where I can serve others. I know I will be an asset to any collegiate golf team because I am a great team member, talented competitor, and hard worker. I have intangibles that are hard to convey in golf scores and yardages. One of my best attributes on the golf course is my unwavering attitude that I can grind it out in any situation. I have grown a great deal through my years of playing, and have the quiet confidence that no matter what the course or conditions throw at me, I can get through it. I have had extreme highs and lows, and while I appreciate the highs, the lows have taught me valuable lessons about perseverance and character. I understand how to stay calm and steady, even when shots are not going my way. If you watched me play, you would not know my score by the way I reacted to any shot. I have the same demeanor when I am playing well, and stay steady and calm when I have to work through difficult rounds. I also immensely appreciate the opportunity to spend time doing what I love, in beautiful places, with the support of my family. In the current state of the world, there is a great deal of unrest and uncertainty, and I am extremely grateful to be able to play golf. I look forward to contributing as both a person and player in a collegiate golf program.
