Jordan Winters '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a Junior golfer from New Prairie High School in New Carlisle, IN.   I am a very calm and composed golfer.  I have played golf competitively since seventh grade and I have a passion for the sport.  I was selected to be the number 2 varsity golfer my freshman year and the number 1 varsity golfer my sophomore and junior year.  I was selected to be Captain of the golf team my junior year.  I was also selected as 2nd team all conference my sophomore year.  I play in the Lifestyle Junior Tour locally and the Indiana State Tour.

I am a very hardworking individual both on and off the course. I like to challenge myself in all that I do.  I am enrolled in honors and AP courses in high school and presently have a GPA of 4.111. My strengths are math and science and I have a strong interest in pursuing career in medicine. I participate in an organization called HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) and recently was a top ten finisher in our state competition in Indianapolis, IN.  I am scheduled to take the SAT and ACT in October of 2019.  I took the SAT this past Spring for the first time.  

I am searching for a college where I can have a balance between my academics and athletics. I would love to find a college where I can be a strong contributor to the golf team while working towards my goal of pursuing a degree in Medicine. I would consider any location in the United States with a preference toward the Midwest.  I would prefer a small to medium school with a student enrollment between 3,000-15,000.  I will most definitely consider all opportunities even outside my preferences above.
