Golf is my passion. College is a necessity.

 I am looking for a university where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the course. I would like to be a contributing member of the team and able to grow my natural leadership skills while improving my game.

Since I was nine, I’ve been competing at increasingly higher levels. Often times, I would play-up, or against boys, for more competition. I love helping Jr. Golfers who are just learning the basics, and I enjoy assisting at clinics. I practice year-round and feel like something is missing if I don’t golf for a few days.

I was undefeated in nine tournaments going into the State Championship my senior season.  I am a four year state qualifier. I placed 23^rd, 10^th, 4^th, and 5^th at state during my high school career. All four years of high school, I was on the All-Area Team. My senior year, I led the CNC rankings. I also had the honor of being selected Kansas Athlete of the Month by Sports In Kansas.

The awards I have received are a result of many hours of practice, dedication, and years of hard work that I’m so proud of. I feel like this is only the beginning of what I’m capable of accomplishing. I’ve worked hard to get to this point, and I know I have what it takes to do anything I set my mind to.
