Personal Statement

Golf has been a big part of my life since I was little. My dad's side of the family has a very strong love for the sport. My grandpa and my dad were both PGA Class A Professionals. I have been out on the golf course and around the game of golf ever since I was very young, but I fully committed myself when I got to high school. My first true 18 holes were freshmen year at Kapaun Mt. Carmel. Since then, I have grown so much in the sport and I am improving every time I play.  During my freshman year, I was shooting in the 100s or high 90s, in my sophomore year in the high 80s, and now I am shooting in the low 80s high 70s. In the offseason, I plan on spending a lot of time on Trackman to sharpen my skills and eliminate careless mistakes. My hope is to join a collegiate where I can continue to learn and contribute to a successful team while earning an education.
