Allison Kippers '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Allison Kippers, and I've had a goal to play college golf ever since I started playing the game at 10 years old. I'm 5'5" tall and currently weigh 128 pounds. I believe I would be an excellent addition to any college team, because I grew as a player without the help of money. My family is middle-class and can not afford many luxuries, so when committing to this game, sacrifices were made. I spend many days of the week playing, and enjoy getting better. While on the course (as many players find out), I don't always play my best. That doesn't keep me from working hard, though. I've never played a round where I don't work until the very last putt. After 7 years of playing, I've truly learned that every shot counts. I'm not very specific when it comes to colleges, other than the states I would like to play for. These states are Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Two other states I wouldn't mind playing for are Texas and Tennessee. My most memorable moments in the 7 years of playing golf are shooting under par for the first time, winning the Brec Ladies' Amateur in 2008, and winning my very first Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour tournament. Each of these were big accomplishments for me. I'd like to add "playing on a college golf team" to that list. ;)
