Personal Statement

I have a goal to play on a college golf team. I would love to attend a great school for both academics and golf. While in college, I want to study business and hopefully own my own business when finished with college. I feel that I am a good candidate for a collegiate golf team because I am very driven in both school and golf. I practice every single day of the week no matter what the circumstances are. I have maintained mostly A's with very few B's throughout my high school career thus far.  Also, I have a very focused mind. In golf, as an eighth grader, I became number one on the Boys Varsity High School Golf Team, and have kept my number one spot ever since. Playing against Senior boys does not intimidate me, and I have won almost all my matches in my three years playing on the team. I have amazing support from my family and they are completely committed to giving me the best opportunities they can. This support allows me to be the best student-athlete I can be. Lastly, I constantly strive for excellence and love being the best at everything I do. I believe this is what helps me to be successful in both school and golf. I feel my personality and work habits will help me go a long way throughout life.
