Emma Bishoff '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Emma Bishoff.

I am a senior at Kearsley High School located in Flint, MI. Throughout my time at Kearsley I have been involved in many sports, but golf is my passion. I have been playing golf at a varsity level since my freshman year and going into my senior year, I can't wait to see what my last season will bring me. Following high school I would love to continue my golf career at a collegiate level. During my high school seasons I have worked day in and day out at improving my game, during the season and off-season. Golf has always been known as a game of repetition and a sport that only improves with practice, and I couldn't agree more. I know that this sport takes dedication, so I have spent my last four summers on a golf course almost everyday; rain or shine. My game has improved by more than 20 strokes since my freshman year. My awards have reflected my dedication. My junior year I earned 2nd Team All-Conference and this summer (2018), I took 2nd place in the first flight for the Flint Junior Golf Association (FJGA) 18-hole division. I am willing to put in the hard-work and dedication to be the best I can be. Setting goals and working to reach them is something I love accomplishing. I have always challenged myself from my academics to sports. Having taken all honors and advanced placement classes, I learned that to be successful you have to put in the time and need to prioritize. My education is my top priority and continuing my schooling at an advanced level is very important to me. I would love to do that at a university that has a collegiate golf program. I love the game of golf and will do whatever it takes to reach the next level, both on and off the course.
