College Athletics is an opportunity to take my passion for golf a step further. I have been involved in almost every sport since I was very young and when I took up golf I knew this was something I wanted to pursue at a higher level. Sports have always been an escape for me as they keep me disciplined in my academics and they have taught me many life lessons. Competition has always been my source of excitement and something that I’ve taken very seriously. There would be nothing that would make me more motivated in golf then to have my name representing a school as a college athlete.
I believe I am a good fit for your school because of my achievements and extracurriculars. I have a 4.0 GPA currently and I plan to keep that throughout my high school career. I have won academic awards in math, earth science, U.S. History, and English. I also am a big promoter of school pride as I am the Class of 2021’s Student Council President. I am very involved with the community as I volunteer in the Emergency Department at our local hospital. I also have visited our local nursing homes where I Christmas caroled with our school choir and for a school project I baked the residents cupcakes and visited with them to gain knowledge from their experiences. My 8 years of playing piano and countless buckets of golf balls I’ve hit at the driving range show my drive and determination to grow and succeed at whatever challenge comes my way. These reasons lead me to believe I will be a good fit for your school.
I believe that in order to hold yourself accountable for anything you have to set goals. One of my goals for college is to major in Pre-Med or Biology as I want to pursue a career in surgery after I to go to Medical School. As for location of the colleges I’m interested in, I would prefer somewhere in the Midwest area, but I am open to anywhere that I find an interest in or that takes an interest in me. Golf is an area of my life that I take very seriously and I am excited to see the opportunities it could open for me.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
