I am very athletic and competitive, therefore, sports and living a healthy lifestyle will always be a part of who I am. I have been playing golf since I was seven years old. I started competitively in tournaments since I was twelve years old. I consider myself lucky to have a strong support and great relationships with my entire family, from my parents, to my cousins, grandparents, swing coach, trainer, and high school coach. I am confident in my support group who guide and provide me with the tools I need to continue practicing and competing at the highest level. Ever since, I started playing competitively my scores continue to drop and my game has develop into the player I am today. I realize that my successes has caused me to be a role model for other girls younger than me. I enjoy the thought of motivating others and will continue to be the best person that I can be.
Off the course I am hard working as well. I have maintained a high GPA while challenging myself academically. Despite my school busy schedule, I currently serve on Student Council where this organization has help me develop leadership skills I need to make a difference for the student body at my school. The strengths I possess is that I am organized, prepared, and outgoing.
I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a pre-law major, which will position me well for law school. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence to the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college golf career, I will strive to be an asset to the team. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the course, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend. I look forward to having the opportunity to pursue my goals, and I am ready for the new challenges of being a collegiate student-athlete. With my constant desire for excellence both academically and athletically, I am confident that I would be an asset to a college and their golf team.
