I am Emily Goldenstein and graduate in 2014. I have loved sports ever since I could hold a ball. Golf is just one of several sports I have played. Therefore I am really athletic but I started focusing on golf at the end of eighth grade. I still play Varsity basketball for my school, and have been a captain the past two years. There is something about golf that makes me love the game. I love being outdoors and meeting different people on the golf course. Over the years I have made so many friends from golf it has been amazing. I am super competitive and I enjoy that aspect of the game. I love how it is not easy to get something right away and I have to work hard to get my game to where I want it. And if I am not happy, I just keep practicing because I really want to get there. I like that there is always something to work on with golf, you can always get better and I am truly striving to become the best golfer I can be, which is one reason why I really want to play college golf. On the golf course and off hard work is very important to me because I know nothing just comes to you, you have to work for. I am also a member of the First Tee of Greater St. Louis where I have been taught so many great skills with golf and in life.
