Personal Statement

My name is Sarah and I am from Helena, Montana and I’m 16. I have been going to Helena Christian School since 4th grade and am transferring to Helena High School this fall for my Junior and Senior years. I began playing golf when I was nine and love the sport both playing and watching it. My favorite golfer is Rickie Fowler.

I have played Basketball and Volleyball for Helena Christian School but golf is the sport that I’m passionate about and see myself playing forever. Golf has given me an opportunity to meet some great people. It has also given me an opportunity to spend time outdoors in all types of weather and learn to persevere.

My goal is to play competitively in college and I want to become a physical therapist or athletic trainer, because I like the idea of helping people prevent and recover from injuries. Some volunteer activities that I have been involved in are helping out at Awana, Vacation Bible Schools, assistant coaching girl’s middle school basketball, and helping my golf coach teach youth at his summer golf camps.
