Personal Statement
My name is Janet Kuskie I am from Grant, Nebraska, it is a town of about 1,225 people. My passion is golf I am the team captain for Perkins County. I love to help other girls who haven't played as much or who are new to the game. I am a very hard worker and you will see me out at the course all the time. I am the type of player who is really dedicated to this sport and works hard to improve. Almost every day I am out at the golf course till night fall and stay a couple of hours after practice is over. One thing I can pride my self over is that I NEVER give up and I let bad holes go even when everything is going so bad I bounce back and come back with an amazing score. I am 5'6.5" and around 115 pounds. I am a long hitter. I have always been a hard worker I have had a job since I was 13, I started caddying at Balleyneal Golf and Hunt Club, now I have a job at our local Auto parts store and have been there for over 3 years.
I started playing golf when my brother Jacob took me out for the first time in about 6th grade. My brother had a heart transplant and he wasn’t able to play any vigorous sports in high school so he came to the game of golf. Ever since that day I have always loved playing golf and he is my hero. Our family is not wealthy but we work for what we get. I pride my self for that because that is how I have become to be such a great person and hard worker. I would be honored to play for any team that would have me because I would be able to play the game I love.
