Sierra Campbell '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach, my name is Sierra Campbell. I am a senior at Rio Rancho High School in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. I am 5'6'' and weigh 132 pounds. I am the captain for the varsity golf team and have been since my freshman year. I love having the girls from my team come to me on or off the course for anything. I have always dreamed of playing college golf. I spend most of my waking hours on the golf course, whether it is practicing until dark or teaching youngsters the thrill of the game. As an eighth grader, I made All-District as well as finishing 29th at State. As a freshman, I placed 3rd in the District and 18th in State. My sophomore year I finished off the season with taking 2nd in District and 13th in State. In my junior year, I became the District 1-5A champion, breaking my high school and the district record shooting 72. I also play on the Rocky Mountain Jr. Golf Tour and the Sun Country Junior PGA Tour.  I was recently named "Sun Country Player of the Year", 2012.  I am looking forward to attending a college or university that will challenge me both athletically and academically. Ideally, I would love to be on a team where I can contribute as a freshman however I know that with most teams that is a very hard goal to reach. I am willing to work hard to show any coach how much heart I have for the game and how hard I am willing to work for the things I strive for in life. I plan to work incredibly hard both on the golf course and in the classroom. Beyond my golf career, I would like to practice Law. Thank you coach for your time and consideration.
