Sarah Pillittieri '19 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I can remember, I have been playing golf. Starting off when I was just two years old, I would always go out with my parents, grab my putter and putt each time we arrived at the green. Not only is this sport extremely important to me, but is as equally important to my family. Almost every member of my family plays golf. Through golfing I have learned so many valuable life lessons, as well as learned a lot about myself. This sport has taught me that in order to be successful, hard work, dedication and most importantly patience is needed.

I have been fortunate enough to play golf at our local country club for most of my life, partaking in the junior golf programs, as well as participating on the varsity golf team at my school since seventh grade. I am looking for a program that will be a great fit both academically and athletically for me. In order to compete at the collegiate level, a strong dedication and work ethic is needed, and I believe I have both of these. This sport is truly a part of who I am.

I have grown up playing golf with many friends and family members. My education is extremely important to me, and I am fortunate enough to attend an amazing high school, full of numerous opportunities, as well as the opportunities to learn from great teachers. I am extremely confident that I will be a great addition to a collegiate golf program. I have excellent swing fundamentals, as well as leadership skills. I look forward to joining a program that will benefit me both academically and athletically.
