Personal Statement

I have been playing golf for almost 10 years and I have come a long way, but I still have so much more room for improvement. I was the conference champion last year on my high school team and I was given the team MVP award as a freshman. I am extremely hardworking and dedicated to everything I do. I have been a straight-A student throughout high school with a 4.3 GPA. I am 5’10 with a great deal of potential and I intend to use it. This fall I have been very determined to lower my scores to be consistently in the mid to low 70’s. I have been focusing on my weakest area, short game, which largely affects all of my higher scores. I am disappointed in my high school's decision to cancel our fall season but I am also very grateful for this time to improve my game.
