Personal Statement
When I was in Elementary school I wasn't good at anything. I couldn't dance, couldn't play soccer, and I couldn't even sing. My dad decided to start taking me to golf lessons as a father-daughter Friday outing, and right after I hit my first shot I was hooked. Over the years I have spent countless hours taking lessons, practicing on the range, and playing in tournaments. Golf has taught me so many life lessons like patience, perseverance, and that all your hard work will eventually pay off. At the beginning of the 2019 golf season, I went through a huge slump in my game. I was practicing so hard and wasn't scoring to my standards. I kept on persevering and that struggle made me more grateful when I finally reached my goal of a 72. I look forward to playing college golf and being part of a team and getting to form life long frienships.
