Hi! I'm Jillian. I am a rising Junior at South Brunswick High School. I love the game of golf and I want to improve! I currently have a scoring average of 80 but I am working hard to bring it down. I play in many tournaments through Peggy Kirk Bell Golf Tour, Tarheel Youth Golf Association, and the Carolinas Golf Association. I placed fourth at the 2022 3A NCHSAA State Championship held at Longleaf Golf and Country Club with a 78 and a 74. I also tied for first at the 2022 NCHSAA 3A East Regional Championship held at Reedy Creek GC by shooting a 71.
I am also a member of the First Tee. I have been a participant in the First Tee since the age of 5. Through the First Tee, I recently applied for the John Deere Drive Your Future Academy held in San Fransisco, California. I was one of 24 girls from across the United States to get accepted into this Academy. I flew out to California by myself and I spent 5 days there learning leadership skills, meeting new people, playing golf at the Olympic Club, and sightseeing the city. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Last year I was also accepted into the Game Changers Academy Honoring Joe Louis Barrow, Jr. The Academy was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There I learned about diversity, equity, equality, and inclusion. I also volunteer at my local First Tee Chapter. I am a mentor to the younger participants and I am a part of the Teen Council.
I currently have a 4.25 GPA and take primarily honors classes. I am also a member of the National Honor Society and Key Club. I am interested in majoring in Business or Golf Management.
I dream of playing Division 1 golf and possibly playing golf professionally.
