My name is Erin Alden and I am a senior at Heritage High School. I started playing golf at five years old getting the inspiration from my grandfather and my dad, who would always take me to the range with him. My freshman and sophomore year on the golf team was fun and I saw improvement throughout the duration of each season. Over the delay of my junior season I decided that I want to pursue golf in college to find success in my potential and become the best golfer I can be.
My academic collegiate goals primarily consist of giving schoolwork my best effort and attention in order to give myself the best chance at a successful life post-college. I would like to keep my grades in college as high as they have been in high school, as school and my education is very important to me. I would like to play golf at the collegiate level to not only continue my passion for golf, but to also have a team to bond with through my college experience. I want the chance to travel and push myself academically and athletically in college while maintaining a positive mindset that allows for as much growth as possible. My drive to succeed and the dedication I have to achieving my goals would make me a great candidate for your team. I can offer different values I have learned from playing my other sport, softball, which has been helpful in balancing school and academics. I look forward to competing in high school and bringing that excitement into college sport. I look forward to being in touch!
