On the course, I am a determined, competitive athlete. I was the second best high school golfer in North Dakota as a 7th grader. I won half the high school tournaments my eighth-grade year, including the West Region title. I did not get to compete my sophomore year due to an injury. My junior year, I shot a personal best of 69, beating the field by 8 strokes. I also had the low scoring average of 75.29. For a full swing, typically play a draw, but am working on being able to curve the ball both ways. I don’t golf year-round due to the cold winter months and the track season in the spring. This makes me wonder how good I could be if I were like most other golf recruits who live in the south and play all year. I would love to have the opportunity to develop my game to its potential.
In the classroom, I am a studious student. I study diligently and love learning! I have never finished with a B in a class. I have taken several AP classes throughout my high school career. I finished my junior year with a 4.2 GPA.
On the personality side of things, I am very bubbly and positive. I love people and like to be encouraging and complementary. I enjoy making people laugh and smile!
