I have completed my sophmore season of golf and it was very successful with some definite room for improvement. I won the conference tournament, tied for first in sectionals and districts but sadly lost in a playoff to go to state. I am shooting in the mid to high 70s and low 80s. I started the season in the mid to low 80s. For nine holes I shoot in the mid to high 30s with a personal best of two-under-par 34, setting a new nine hole record for my school and have the lowest 36 hole score for my school with a 156. I also tied the lowest 18 hole score of three-over-par 75 for my school. I hit my driver 170-190 yards. My goal throughout the off season is to increase my distance by 30 yards and I will achieve this by working out and improving my swing further. My goal for my junior season next year is to be shooting consistently in the mid to low 70s and even a few scores in the high 60s. I am very passionate about golf and strive to be the best golfer I can be.
