November 2016Personal Statement
It has been my dream to be a collegiate golfer, since I have been eight years old. I have worked diligently both athletically and academically to achieve this goal. I have been a straight A student and a violinist in the orchestra for the past 11 years, I am the captain of my high school golf and cheerleading team. I have had many opportunities to work with disabled, and homeless individuals through my church youth group and community outreach programs. All of these experiences along with my strong faith have taught me many life lessons in tenacity, teamwork, leadership, gratefulness, and sportsmanship.
I am looking forward to appying these principles to my college education and college golf experience. Through my experiences I believe that I am prepared to be an excellent student and team player.
