Hello! My name is Olivia Jackson and I am a student at Otsego High School. I have a GPA of 3.5. I have received the Golden Apple Award two years in a row. To receive the Golden Apple Award you have to have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. I have also taken harder classes, during my sophomore year I took Advanced Biology and Ap United States History. I also volunteer as a library aide at my high school library. While being a student, I'm also a golfer. I compete in summer tournaments on the Toledo Junior Golf Association tour and the Hurricane golf tour. Then during the school year I compete in high school golf tournaments.
Some of my collegiate goals are to play golf in college and to get my Doctorate in physical therapy. I would like to golf in college because I love playing golf and I would like to compete for as long as I can. I would like to major in physical therapy because I enjoy helping people and want to make a difference. My ultimate goal would to someday work for a children's hospital. I believe that I would be a good candidate for your team because I am a very hard worker, I can balance school and golf very well, and I am a very positive and happy person. What makes me different from the other recruits is character, I am a very humble person, kind hearted, and a very happy person. Other girls tend to get frustrated at their golf game and school work , but I just tend to shake it off and be happy as a clam. What makes me different from the other recruits in athletics is that I am willing to put in the hard work needed, I am a very coach-able person, and I am open to changes in my golf game. Every year my golf scores keep getting lower and I am improving. I know that things in life are not just handed to you, hard work and dedication is needed. What makes me different from other recruits is that in academics is that I enjoy school very much, I am willing to study on the road, I can take on harder classes, and I am capable of not just representing a school athletically, academically, but in my character.
