Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Brianna Merdian. I am a two-year started on the co-ed Varsity Yough Golf Team. My school is located in Herminie, Pa, about an hour east of Pittsburgh. I am planning on playing next year, my senior year, which will give me three years of playing high school golf. When I graduate high school, I am interested in pursuing a secondary education, specifically in Business, at a 4-year college or university. I enjoy staying active outside of school and golf by participating the in following activities: Prom Committee, Future is Mine, Student Council, CAP/SADD and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I was recently inducted into the Spanish National Honor Society and was also just selected to participate in the Leadership Westmoreland Youth Academy. Finally I also serve as a Master of Ceremonies at St. Edward R.C. Church. And after participating in all of these activities, I still have maintained a 3.7 GPA.
As you can tell from all of my groups and extra curricular activities, I like to stay busy and I love to work-with and be around other people. I am very much a 'team player' and I always try to help others just as much as I try to help myself. I think I would be a great addition to any school's golf team because not only do I have the experience in playing competitive golf but I also am a people-person who my other teammates would enjoy having on their team. I would appreciate your consideration of giving me a chance to show how I can be a benefit to your team and school.
