Ellen Wager '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing golf since I was 6 years old. Along with golf, I have played basketball for the last 9 years. I have never had a professional instructor/coach, I have learned everything I know from my dad who loves the game and has played golf as a hobby for many years. In school I am very organized, hardworking and I try my very best in all that I do. Due to my love and passion for this game and determination to play in college, I have decided to stop playing basketball and put all my energy into my golf game. My teammates and coaches would describe me as determined, hardworking, and passionate about the game. Playing for so long has given me the confidence and comfort on the golf course necessary to be consistent and play well. On the golf course I am very positive, level headed and persistent and I look forward to bringing this energy to a college team.
