My name is Lauren Jones and I love playing golf. I especially love playing golf for my high school, Episcopal Academy. Being a member of the varsity team since 7th grade has been a great experience and something I look forward to every spring. Working hard with my team on the practice tee and putting green, going to matches in the van talking and laughing and cheering on my teammates are the wonderful things I love about being part of my high school golf team.
I want to continue to have these great experiences and my goal is to play on a competitive golf team in college. I look forward to the opportunity to be part of a college team program and represent a school on and off the golf course. I am a very hard worker on the course and in the classroom with lots of grit and determination. I love to learn and I love the challenge of getting better everyday. I am working on all aspects of my golf game, with my teacher John Dunigan so I can continue to lower my handicap and I have a full schedule of rigorous classes to challenge me at school.
Golf is such a great game and it has given me many different opportunities to travel and meet new people. It has taught me a lot about myself and my character and it is a game I hope to play for a long time. Being a member of a college golf team is something that I have dreamed of since I was a little girl and I can not wait to share my excitement and love of the game with new coaches and teammates.
