Placing second at my first ever tournament, and qualifying for districts were the highlights of my freshman year. I attend Elk Lake High School, and I’am currently on the Elk Lake Boys Varsity Golf Team. At Elk lake no other girl wanted to play Golf, so if I wanted to play I would have to be on the boys team.
Golf has only started two years ago for me, when my uncle a PGA Professional wanted me to try a day Golf camp just for fun. Everything started to click and I became more passionate about Golf. Being born two months early has taught me that perseverance, passion, and poise comes from within. Also that, you can do anything you put your mind to as long as you have dedication, and determination, in which I now apply to everything I do, especially golf. I believe that not only do I have the ability to compete at a college level, but bring leadership, motivation, mental toughness, and commitment to make a positive impact on your program. As a high school athlete in Golf and (Women’s Gymnastics) I have learned to balance my athletics, academics, and service to my community. I’am searching for a program where I can grow as an athlete, and person while I pursue my academic goals.
