Sissi Hai '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sissi Hai, I am a 2022 golfer, I am a junior at North Allegheny Senior High School, I started playing golf when I was at a young age, I got serious with the game since 7th grade. I played on the girl's High school Varsity team for two years now and wish to continue to be on the Varsity team until the end of my high school athletic career. I have been an honor roll student all 2 years of high school to date. I am extremely dedicated to the game of golf and will do everything to reach the top. My greatest advantage is that I love improving, my 8th-grade year my score was around 120, freshmen year I have lowered that number to 95, my sophomore year it continued to go down to the 80s, with a great amount of practice and dedication I believe that I have the potential to bring down my score where I want it to be. I love getting down to the details, perfecting my swing, and making my shots more accurate. I only wish to be better and would be a great fit for your program. I am also looking for a program that would allow me to improve my game year around. 

I absolutely love the game of golf and found a passion for this challenging sport. This game has taught me so much and I grew as a person learning and playing golf. It has taught me a great deal about being patient, both mentally and physically. I love socializing and communicating, I do great not only as a teammate but also as a competitor. The problem-solving part of golf is challenging and it makes me think about how to manipulate the course and play smart when I am in a rough spot. I am extremely focused and do well under pressure. At the 2019 WPIAL section championship, I shot my lowest of the season under pressure and helped my team to score at the top two. Losing by 4 strokes at the championship has also taught me the importance of teamwork, commitment, leadership and discipline. It makes me want to be better for my team and myself. I have very big dreams when it comes to golf and will do whatever it takes to reach my goal. I work extremely hard and always give my best effort, nothing is stopping me from being better at this game and I think I have the potential to be a part of your Women’s college golf program.
